Jenny brings a diverse background in theatre, education, events, administration and community music to her role as Operations Manager at the New Zealand Children’s Choral Academy.
Originally trained in Stage Management and Technical Theatre at London’s Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Jenny began her career working across theatre and live events in the UK before moving into education and arts administration in New Zealand. She has extensive experience coordinating festivals, performances and arts programmes, as well as developing systems and processes that help creative organisations thrive.
Jenny is actively involved in New Zealand’s choral community, including as the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Regional Representative for the New Zealand Choral Federation and through her work with the Upper North Island Big Sing Cadenza.
At NZCCA, Jenny oversees operations, development, events, funding, partnerships and programme delivery. She is passionate about creating accessible opportunities for young singers and helping build a strong, connected choral community for children and young people across Aotearoa.
A mum of three boys herself, Jenny understands the importance of creating welcoming, enriching and accessible opportunities for children and young people to experience the joy of music.
